Beacon Rising Choir Concert & Community Event

Doors open at 1pm for free event featuring community organizations, local business raffle, bake sale
Concert at 2pm

With nearly 70 members, Beacon Rising has become a place for healing, connection, and community building – things we need now more than ever. This concert will be not only an uplifting and inspiring event, but also a celebration of the community. Come early to meet local community organizations and nonprofits and find out how you can get involved with these awesome change-makers. Buy a ticket for our raffle of fabulous prizes donated by amazing local businesses. Grab a snack from our bake sale. Meet your neighbors, enjoy the show, and sing along with us while supporting a beloved, local grassroots organization.

Beacon Rising performs a variety of styles and genres with an eye toward interesting, powerful, and artistic literature. The repertoire comes primarily from female, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC composers and arrangers who highlight social and environmental justice, compassionate community, and radical self-love and healing.

SLIDING SCALE PRICING AND PAY-OVER-TIME ARRANGEMENTS
Anyone interested in applying for sliding scale assistance right away can jump to our sliding scale assistance application. If you’d like to request a payment plan (a PAY-OVER-TIME arrangement) for a class just email us at andy@compassarts.org and let us know which class you’d like to enroll in – we’ll then set you up with an automatic payment plan that will span over three or four months.

MULTIPLE CLASS REGISTRATION DISCOUNT
Once you register for one class in a semester you will receive an email with a discount code that you can apply to other classes in the same semester so please be sure to check your email after completing your first registration. (Please note that our year-long programs, Elements and Young People’s Performance Company will not accept the discount code. However, registering for one our year-long programs WILL give you access to discounts for other classes.)
